Alleged Sex Scandal: We have enough evidence to nail Apostle Suleiman – Keyamo Chambers

As the love scandal involving Apostle Johnson Suleman and Canada-based Stephanie Otobo gets messier, Kayamo Chambers has issued some questions for the cleric to answer. The lawyers from Keyamo Chambers claimed they have enough incontrovertible evidence including text messages, still pictures and video to nail the Apostle who recently had a brush with security agents over his comments on the Boko Haram menace.

Lawyers to the cleric of Auchi-based Omega Fire Ministries Church, had on Thursday demanded that Keyamo, whose law firm is representing Otobo, retract all publications, apologise publicly to him, and pay him N1 billion

Suleiman is alleging blackmail and injuries inflicted on him.

Two lawyers of the Keyamo Chambers, Uchenna B. Moneke and Oluwafemi O.N. Olabisi, promptly responded to  Suleman’s demands.

The firm noted that Festus Keyamo, the Head of Chambers, was not personally involved in the matter and has been in Abuja during the controversy.

“Apart from an informal and friendly phone conversation Mr. Festus Keyamo had with a reporter in Punch Newspapers and one other blog about this matter, Keyamo has never personally signed or issued any letter or press release on this issue,” the lawyers stated.

“All of Pastor Suleman’s allegations of some imaginary grand conspiracy being perpetrated against him are not only pathetic but are ludicrous and a nonsensical smokescreen,’’ the law firm said.

In a latest development, the law firm said it had the instruction of Otobo to ask Apostle Suleiman the following questions:

  • Whether it is the Hausa/Fulani herdsmen that instructed him to be paying millions into the account of our client who he calls a “stripper” all the way in Canada.
  • Whether it is his special calling as a so-called “man of God” to be paying millions to strippers and prostitutes to leave their trade, when there are poor women and widows within his congregation in Nigeria that need help badly.
  • Whether it is the Hausa/Fulani herdsmen that instructed him to be exchanging amorous text messages with a girl he calls “a stripper”. These text messages would all be investigated and revealed when full criminal investigations commence.
  • Whether it is the Hausa/Fulani herdsmen that instructed him to be having Skype conversations with Miss Stephanie Otobo and to be requesting her to open her bare breasts to him.
  • Whether it is the Hausa/Fulani herdsmen that told him to be exposing his private part to Miss Stephanie on Skype; which pictures are in our custody.

“We make bold to say that when criminal investigations commence, all these text messages and pictures would be subjected to serious forensic analysis, and the truth would be established.

“The hotels they slept in and the evidence of their meetings in and out of this country would be revealed.

“The pitiable excuse of “photoshop” has become a convenient escape route for all culprits caught on tape these days.”

The general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, had raised an alarm, accusing Keyamo, and his alleged “paymasters’’ of plans to unveil his cloned video clips.

The clone, he alleged was a desperate bid to prove that the Christian leader had an amorous relationship with Otobo.

A statement by Phrank Shaibu, the spokesperson for Apostle Suleman, alleged that “Keyamo and his paymasters have also decided to kill or terribly harm the Otobo and frame Apostle Suleman or his agents as being responsible for the heinous act’’.

“Intelligence available indicates that Keyamo and his paymasters are bent on nailing the pastor for daring to stand against and speak up against the ploy by leaders of a section of the country against Christians,” Shaibu alleged.

Suleman was sued by a Canadian-based supposed lover, Otobo, who is claiming N500 million as damages.

But the “Man of God” has denied the allegations from the assumed mistress.

Stephanie filed the suit against the Apostle for allegedly getting her pregnant and dumping her.

Her Counsel, Keyamo chambers, also wrote a letter to the Inspector General of police.

According to Court papers, Suleiman and Stephanie met in 2016 in Canada and allegedly began a secret affair.

She claimed he informed her of his plan to divorce his wife, Lizzy, to marry her and have more male children.

Stephanie, who is a musician with stage name Kimora, left her base in Canada to Nigeria so she can be close to her pastor/secret lover.

She says during sex, Pastor Suleiman would lick her all over her body including her vagina and had suggested that they have group sex with her friends.

Stephanie says he got her detained after she told him she was pregnant.

She says she has naked photos as well as screenshots of raunchy messages they sent to themselves.

Stephanie claims she became a member of the Apostle Suleiman’s church, and followed him everywhere. He sent her money regularly according to her and she claims he asked her to get pregnant.

But when she informed him in September 2016 that she was pregnant in a hotel in Ikeja, Stephanie claims Apostle Suleiman flew into a rage and asked her to abort it, fearing scandal.

Stephanie claims that Pastor Suleiman gave her a concoction that made her bleed and he ended their relationship.

According to the story, Stephanie went to Warri and relayed the whole story to another pastor who recorded it and started using it to extort money from Suleiman.

Stephanie said she returned to Canada afterwards but Apostle Suleiman contacted her again, apologised and asked her to return to Nigeria.

And when she returned to Nigeria , she claims he put money into her account and subsequently froze the account.

It was when Stephanie was trying to withdraw money from the account at a UBA bank after her ATM refused to work, that she was arrested on orders of Apostle Suleiman who had reported her of being a blackmailer.

After her arrest, Stephanie filed a lawsuit against Apostle Suleiman demanding to be paid N500 million as damages for not honouring his promise to marry her and for harassment and threat to her life.
