Buhari’s Re-election: Your Labour of Love Will Not Go Unrewarded- APC Assures Youths

President Muhammadu Buhari
Alhaji Ismaeel Ahmed, Deputy Director, Youth Mobilisation, All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, has assured that the love and efforts of youths working for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari will always be recognised.
Ahmed, who is also the Senior Special Adviser on Social Investment to President Buhari, gave the assurance on Monday in Abuja when he met with different youth support groups working for the re-election of Buhari.
He said the meeting was arranged for the groups to consolidate on their efforts as significant units of a larger body.
“We are here to let you all know that your labour of love is recognised and that you are not alone in this movement. We are here to, most importantly, acknowledge all the efforts of various youth organisations that have been working tirelessly to ensure that good governance is sustained,” he said.
Ahmed said the groups had embarked on mobilisation for the re-election of President Buhari on Feb.16.
He noted that while some of the groups had been in existence longer than others, they all shared a common unflinching resolve to support the APC administration.
According to him, the groups had made sacrifices in various ways toward the realisation of the same goal.
He said the Nigerian Youth for Better Democracy, in particularly, had paid the ultimate sacrifice during the 2015 elections and was still standing strong, with their support for President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Ahmed said through their different activities, the youth groups had proven that they had decided to be architects of their destinies and stakeholders of their future, standing by a government that has them at heart.
He, however, urged the groups not not allow themselves to be hijacked or collapsed into another, adding that they should operate as their mode of operations dictated.
The presidential aide also assured the groups of the support of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, which he said remained critical to the actualisation of their common goal.
He urged the youth groups to remain steadfast with the APC administration, adding that better days are ahead of Nigerians under the Buhari-led administration.(NAN)
