Nigerian child rapist escapes UK security 4 times with forged passport

A CHILD rapist on the run for 12 years travelled in and out of Britain at least four times using a forged passport.
Officials failed to spot the document had Onimisi Seidu’s picture but his brother’s name, reports the UK Sun.
He fled the country ahead of his trial in 2007 but was finally arrested in March after returning from Lagos, in Nigeria.
Seidu, 47, of Chatham, Kent, admitted the 2002 rape and failing to surrender to bail and was jailed for 15 years at Maidstone crown court.
Prosecutor Paul Valder said the victim cried when raped but Seidu ignored pleas to stop and even forced the youngster to say sorry to him for what happened.
He also made the child watch a pornographic video, and promised to buy a McDonald’s meal or chocolate bar as ‘recompense’.
Passing sentence, Judge Adele Williams said: “These were brutal and violent rapes. The child was frightened to tell. This has had, not surprisingly, a deeply traumatic effect upon your victim.
“You robbed the child of innocence…The abuse will live with your victim forever.”
Of his travel to and from the UK while on the run, she told him: “It is apparent you have entered the UK on at least four occasions using a false passport.
“You have been at large, evading justice, for 12 years.”
