Nigerian-American Hollywood actress, Uzo Aduba, has confirmed her return in the American comedy-drama hit show, ‘Orange is the New Black’ for the sixth season.

‘Orange is the New Black’ pays close attention to how corruption, drug smuggling, funding cuts, overcrowding and guard brutality affect the prisoners’ health and well-being.

The series is based on Piper Kerman’s memoir, ‘Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison’ (2010), about her experiences in Prison.

Aduba, who has played ‘Suzanne’ since the first season, has continued to receive commendation for her in the series and has received several notable awards for her performance.

She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series in 2014 and an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2015.

The actress also bagged two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series in 2014 and 2015.
