President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday in Abuja, commended Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo for being a loyal and dependable partner in the journey to transform Nigeria to an enviable position.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Buhari gave the commendation on his twitter handle, @MBuhari, while congratulating the Vice-President at 61.

“Thank you for being a loyal and dependable partner on this journey. I join millions of your friends and well-wishers around the world to wish you many more years of service to God, Nigeria and humanity.’’

Meanwhile, the Aso Villa Chapel said it had planned a 61-hour-nonstop-praise concert in commemoration of the 61st birthday celebration of the vice-president.

The Chaplain of the Aso Villa Chapel, Pastor Seyi Malomo, who made this known in a statement signed by him in Abuja, said the exercise was in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

The vice-president, whose full name is Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo, was born on March 8, 1957 in Lagos.

He obtained his primary school certificate at Corona School, Lagos; secondary education at Igbobi College, Yaba and proceeded to University of Lagos between 1975 and 1978, where he studied law.

He also attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1981 and later went to London School of Economics.

Osinbajo, who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), a Professor of Law and a Senior Partner at a law firm held various positions before his current position.
