Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is not dead after all; he is recuperating fast and will return home shortly, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo said on Wednesday shortly after he returned from a short trip to London where he said he met with the President and discussed national issues with him.

Osinbajo said he had discussed with Buhari a wide range of issues but declined to say more in his first comments since flying to London on Tuesday night to meet the president, who is on sick leave there. Osinbajo was at Abuja House in London and met with the President for about one hour Tuesday night before jetting back to the country Wednesday morning.

Whereas Osinbajo did not give out any clue as to state of being of Mr President, one  of the President’s daughters, Zahra Indimi, had  let the cat out of the bag when she said the President is currently doing fine.

Zahra made the disclosure on her Twitter handle while reacting to inquiries by followers on her father’s health status. The first daughter who did not mention when the President will be returning to the country was asked by a follower, “Where is your father, asking on behalf of Nigerians.”

Responding, Zahra wrote: “Good afternoon Nigeria. He’s doing pretty good.”
