The Lagos State Government has shut the Alaba International Market over poor waste disposal practices among others.

The Commissioner for Environment in the state, Tokunbo Wahab disclosed this on Monday.

He wrote on X platform(dormerly twitter) Alaba International Market, Ojo has been sealed up for poor waste disposal practices, failure to pay their waste bills and gross environmental sanitation offences.

“Alaba International Market, Ojo has been sealed up for poor waste disposal practices, failure to pay their waste bills, and gross environmental sanitation offences”.

The state government had recently sealed and later reopened the Mile 12 International Market and Owode Onirin Market along Ikorodu Road.
