Mr Akobundu
Mr. Austin Okwudiri Akobundu, Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) candidate for Abia Central Senatorial Zone has returned as duly elected by the Court of Appeal.
He upstaged Darlington Nwokocha of the Labour Party, (LP) who was earlier declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).
Akobundu, a retired army Colonel was immediate past National Organising Secretary of the PDP.
