Unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the Anambra State Commissioner for Youths Development, Patrick Aghamba, and his wife.

An aide of the commissioner identified as Kpajie ABK Offiah,  a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), who was travelling with them, was shot dead by the gunmen.

They were reportedly attacked on their way to Abuja for the wedding of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s daughter billed for Saturday, August 17th.

While some sources said the incident happened at Kogi State, others said it happened within the jurisdiction of Edo State.

The Press Secretary to Governor Soludo, Christian Aburime, said the government was yet to find out the exact location where the incident happened.
