The Torn Tapestry Exhibition

Nigeria’s award-winning artist, Chinze Ojobo, is  gracing London with her magical strokes in The  Torn Tapestry art exhibition.

The Torn Tapestry Exhibition

We are pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition, “The Torn Tapestry,” featuring the acclaimed artist Chinze Ojobo.

The exhibition will take place at The Thames-Side Studios, Harrington Way, Warspite Road, Royal Borough of Greenwich, London, SE18 5 NR, from April 5 to April 27, 2025. The official opening will be held on April 5-6, 2025.

Chinze is an award-winning artist recognized for her impactful works that address pressing social issues. A graduate of Fine & Applied Arts from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Chinze has showcased her art in over 76 exhibitions worldwide, including major cities such as New York, London, and Paris.

In “The Torn Tapestry,” Chinze advocates for global peace over war, underscoring the long-lasting effects of conflict that can endure for generations. Her artwork utilizes worn and distressed materials to symbolize the emotional and physical scars left by violence. Each piece serves as a poignant representation of trauma and resilience, weaving together narratives that emphasize survival and hope.

Chinze invites the public to engage in meaningful conversations about the importance of peace and dialogue in conflict resolution. Her work serves as a powerful reminder that while the scars of war are evident, healing can be achieved through stories of resistance and remembrance.

Join us for this thought-provoking exhibition and experience the powerful narratives within “The Torn Tapestry,” celebrating resilience and the enduring human spirit.
