38 vessels to arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products, food, others – NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said that 38 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island port in Lagos on Monday.

The NPA disclosed this on its Daily Shipping Position, adding that the vessels are expected from June 8 till June 13.

It said that 10 of the expected ships were carrying containers of different goods, while 28 others contain frozen fish, bulk urea, petrol, condensate, petrol, gas oil, general cargos, aviation fuel, bulk wheat diesel and crude oil.

The NPA noted that nine ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports waiting to berth with containers, gasoline, petrol, bulk fertilizer, diesel and crude oil.

It stated that 21 ships were presently discharging bulk urea, containers, petrol, bulk fertilizer, frozen fish, bulk urea , bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, bulk wheat, containers, bulk gas and bulk gypsum at Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa and Tincan Island port.
