A Magistrates’ Court in Jos on Monday sentenced two security guards, Naphtali Nansak, 34, and Gabriel Kenshio,36,to one-year imprisonment each for negligence

The Magistrate, Mrs. Irene Pati, sentenced the convicts who pleaded guilty to negligent conduct.

Pati, however gave each of them a fine of N40,000.

Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Insp. Daniel Damulak told the court that the complainant, Onyekwere Churchill reported the case at the Anglo-Jos police station on Feb.10.

Damulak said the offence contravened the provisions of Plateau Penal Code Law. (NAN
