COVID-19: Lagos State discharges 4 patients as confirmed cases rises to 190

The Lagos State government says 4 more persons have recovered from coronavirus and have been discharged in

This brings the total number of people discharged in Nigeria to 24 with two deaths fatalities.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announced this in a tweet on Friday.

He noted that the patients, three females and one male were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba after testing negative twice.

“This gives us a lot of hope as we continue to listen to our health experts and provide the resources to beat #COVID19”, the governor added.

However, the number of coronavirus cases has risen to 190 according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease control, NCDC as it confirms Six New Infections.

NCDC confirmed the six new infections in Osun State through its Twitter handle on Friday.

“As at 11:00 am 3rd April, there are 190 confirmed cases, 24 patients have been discharged while two deaths were recorded”.
