Our administration will be thoroughly inclusive, very accommodating – Dr. Benjamin Oluwatosin

Dr. Benjamin Oluwatosin Olowojebutu

The newly elected executive chairman of university of Lagos alumni association, Lagos branch, Dr. Benjamin Oluwatosin Olowojebutu has promised an all-inclusive administration.

He made the pledge a he formal inauguration of the association’s newly elected executives on Monday, 14th December, 2020 after a very keenly contested election amongst several candidates for the available positions in the association.

Olowojebutu assured the outgone executives that his administration will not lower the bar but rather will give their best to further uplift the association, as “We are faithfully resolute in achieving all our campaign promises.”

“All our supporters should not for any reason lose faith in all the promises we made to secure their votes. Our campaign promises remain our roadmap in rebuilding the association to the admirations of all and sundry”, he said.

“We have just begun a journey to positively change the narratives of leadership in the UNILAG Alumni Association, Lagos State Branch. Our administration will be thoroughly inclusive and very accommodating to different shades of opinions geared towards improving the UNILAG brand across the globe”.

He noted that his administration is firstly working towards mobilizing resources to have the first official secretariat of the association in Ikeja, as enshrined in the constitution. “we would collectively work together and ensure it is achieved in the first 100 days of our administration”.

It was indeed a long road to freedom and we are humbled and grateful to God for the grace He has given unto us. Our doors shall be open and we will continually uphold the tenets of the constitution.

Olowojebutu however expressed his profound appreciation to the Electoral committee led by Prof. Fatai Badru for being unbiased umpire and for their efforts that brought about the most transparent election in the history of the association.

“The University Management Team led by Prof. Toyin Ogundipe provided an enabling environment for the success of the election”.
