The wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, on Tuesday departed to United Kingdom to join her husband who is in London for medical follow-up. Mrs Buhari departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday morning.
In recent days, several groups have held prayer sessions for the President who is said to be responding to treatment. Inside sources said the President has regained significant fitness and could return to the country next week.
Before her departure Mrs Buhari thanked Nigerians for their support to her husband’s administration
The President left Abuja on May 7 for London to see his doctors for more medical attention.
