Another Nigerian, Ijaoba, nabbed in US for drugs, armed robbery

The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says it has arrested a Nigerian national, Ibrahim Tunde Ijaoba, for his alleged involvement in armed robbery and drug peddling.
Ijaoba is said to be a member of the Bloods gang, a primarily African-American street gang that originated in Los Angeles, California.
ICE described Ijaoba as a serial offender who had been convicted in the past for various offences ranging from aggravated assault on a police officer with a firearm, assault, and aggravated assault, armed robbery, obstruction and drug sales.
Political Economist NG reports that ICE had been busy with arrests and deportation of foreign nationals illegally staying in the United States since President Donald Trump’s second coming.
Mr Ijaoba who has been illegally staying in America, according to ICE on Monday, was nabbed and “has a final removal order and awaits deportation in ICE custody”.
“Ibrahim Tunde Ijaoba is a criminal illegal alien from Nigeria and former member of the Bloods — a notoriously violent street gang,” ICE said.
Mr Ijaoba entered the U.S. illegally and then racked up an extensive rap sheet that includes convictions for aggravated assault on a police officer with a firearm, assault, and aggravated assault, armed robbery, obstruction, drug sales, escaping police custody, ICE said.
Mr. Ijaoba arrest and potential deportation adds to the growing list of Nigerians who had been ferreted out of hiding by ICE since early this year when Trump pressed the America First button.
