APC NWC reverses cancellation of Edo primary election candidates’ screening, appoints Hope Uzodinma as Chairman

The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Working Committee, NWC led by former Oyo State governor and Deputy National Chairman (South) Abiola Ajimobi  have taken over party’s secretariat.

The acting Deputy National Chairman, (South-South) Hillary Eta who addressed the media in the absence of ailing Ajimobi reversed the screening of aspirants for the Edo governorship primaries which had earlier been cancelled by the party’s Acting National Chairman,Victor Giadom who took over from Adams Oshiomhole after Appeal Court’s ruling affirming his removal as national Chairman of the party.

Ajimobi’s Led APC faction however named Hope Uzodinma as Chairman Edo governorship primary election, saying Giadom was not a member of the committee after having resigned to contest as deputy governor in Rivers State.
