The State Collation Officer, SCOPE, Ekiti State, Idowu Olayinka has announced APC as winner of the Ekiti presidential election with 219,231 votes.
Announcing the State results Olayinka said election was held in all 16 Local Government Areas, LGAs.
With 899,000 Registered Voters, 393, 701 votes were cast and 12,577 votes rejected.
Some other party votes received include: AAC 400 votes; ANN 88; PDP 154,032 and YPP 68
However the APC also won the presidential elections in Osun with 347,634 votes
Announcing the results, the Returning officer Oluwatoyin Ogundipe said elections were held in 30 Local government areas, LGAs of the State.
The total number of Registered Voters stood at 1,674,729; Accredited voters 722,984 while the number of votes cast was 714,682 votes.
Some other party votes received include: AAC 1022; ANN 268; PDP 337,377 and YPP 189
The Independent National Electoral Commission however adjourned collation to 2:30pm due to absence of other State collation officers
