Just a few hours after the country reported it had 40 confirmed cases of coronavirus, the nation has recorded two additional cases, bringing the number to 42.

The Nigeria centre for Disease Control has continued to advise Nigerians coming into the country to self isolate as the nation seeks means of curbing the spread of the coronavirus.

The Federal government has on Monday advised residents of Lagos and Abuja to stay indoors.
