The Nigeria Centre for Disease control has confirmed Fifty-one new infections of #COVID19 in Nigeria.

This was disclosed by the NCDC in a Twitter message on Friday night.

It noted that 32 of the cases  are in Lagos; 6 in Kano; 5 in Kwara; 2 in FCT; 2 in Oyo; 2 in Katsina; 1 in Ogun and 1 in Ekiti

It added that 159 persons have fully recovered and discharged, while the death toll has risen to 17

Lagos still remains the epicentre of the coronavirus infections in the country
