COVID-19: NCDC says over 7,000 active cases in Nigeria as cases rise to 11,516

The Nigeria Centre for Disease control, NCDC, says there are currently 7,658 active COVID-19 cases in the country as cases rise to 11,516.

The Centre disclosed this in its COVID-19 Nigeria State situation report on Thursday night.

According to the NCDC, on the 4th of June 2020, 350 new confirmed cases in 20 States and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

It added that till date, 11,516 cases have been confirmed, 3,535 cases have recovered and have been discharged while 323 deaths have been recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The report however noted that no new State has reported a case in the last 24 hours.
