COVID-19: Nigeria currently has 1042 active cases as it records 64 new infections

As at April 27, 2020 there are 1042 active COVID-19 cases in the country of the 1337 confirmed cases.

This was disclosed by the NCDC in a series of tweets late Monday night.

According to the 64 new infections have been reported as follows:

34-Lagos

15-FCT

11-Borno

2-Taraba

2-Gombe

“As at 11:20pm 27th April- 1337 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”.

Discharged: 255

Deaths: 40

Lagos however still remains the epicenter of the pandemic with 603 active cases of the 764 confirmed infections.

NCDC noted that no new State has been added to the list as affected States still stands at 32 and the FCT.
