Cross River govt suspends 14-month-old curfew

Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River has suspended the 14-month-old curfew in the state.

Mr. Linus Obogo, Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the governor announced the suspension of the curfew on Saturday.

According to the statement, movement is no longer restricted in the state at any time.

The curfew was imposed in October 2020, following the massive looting and destruction of properties during the #EndSARS protest across the country. (NAN)
