DBI open to partner MDAs, private sector in tech capacity building – Ajiya

The President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Prof. Mohammed Ajiya has assured that the DBI is open for partnership with government agencies, private sectors and related sectors to ensure impactful capacity building on the use of technology for doing business.

Prof. Ajiya who was invited as a Special Guest at the official flag-off of the 2021/2022 Federal Government Scorecard for ranking of websites of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government in Nigeria disclosed this at the event.

Prof. Ajiya also doubled as the representative of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami at the event.

Prof. Ajiya expressed the goodwill message of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy. In his address, he commended the BPRS for the initiative which will set minimum benchmark for ensuring effective interaction between government and the people through the use of technological innovations one of which is websites.

He noted that digital technology has taken over and the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy has introduced a plethora of policies to enable a well-structured and guided inroad for government agencies and the citizens in the adoption of technology in all facets of business relations.

He also commended the BPSR for being at the forefront in championing innovations for good practices in government business.

The program was well attended with representation from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Federal Ministry of Finance, Office of the Minister of the FCT, NITDA, Galaxy Backbone, Federal Road Safety Corps and representatives of Civil Societies.

The President/CEO of DBI attended the program alongside the Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Akin Ogunlade and the Special Assistant to the President/CEO, Mr. Abiola Jimoh
