Diezani Alive, Not Dead – Family

Diezani Alison-MaduekeContrary to social media reports that former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke is dead, The family lawyer, Oscar Onwudiwe, said she is alive and recovering from cancer-related ailment.

A reliable source said that the first female President of OPEC is not dead.

Sam Piranty, a journalist with BBC Africa also claimed that Diezani’s lawyer confirmed that she is alive.

“Diezani lawyer Oscar Onwudiwe says he has spoken to her husband and #diezani is indeed alive,” he posted on Twitter.

However, a source close to the family hinted that her situation deteriorated at a point but that” she is getting over it”.
