The Niger Delta Avengers have struck again hours after it told the world to ‘watch out something big is about to happen and it will shock the whole world”. Early this morning the daring group of militants against a wellspring of pleas to embrace peace hit the oil facilities of oil giants Shell and Agip.
A tweet around 6:30 this morning from the militant group’s official Twitter handle Niger Delta Avengers @NDAvengers announced: “At About 2;15am on Saturday the @NDAvengers blow up Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line belonging to Agip and Shell.”
This is the third strike in as many days and it portends more troubled for the already beleaguered oil and gas sector with concomitant toll on power delivery across the country.
