Drunken driver rams into soldiers in Lagos; 4 dead

No fewer than four people were reported dead with others injured as a suspected drunken driver rammed into some soldiers attached to the Myoung Barracks in Lagos doing their morning physical training.
The driver rammed into the soldiers during their monthly road jogging outside the barracks in the early hours of Friday, witnesses said.
The vehicle, a Toyota car, which was carrying three young men and running at top speed rammed into the soldiers as the driver was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol.
After the incident, the occupants of the car attempted to run away but were caught and beaten to pulp while their vehicle was vandalised.
