The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Directorate, has filed an application for the final forfeiture of a truck-load of assorted solid minerals recovered from suspected illegal miners.

In a statement by the EFCC on Tuesday, the application is before Justice Olukayode Ariwoola of the Federal High Court, Ilorin.

The EFCC added that the Prosecuting Counsel, Barrister Sesan Ola, is currently moving the application before the court.
