FEC to deliberate on transport sector at Wednesday meeting

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting to be presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday is expected to deliberate on the country’s transport sector and other related issues.

The meeting is being attended by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha; the Head of Service, Mrs Winifrey Ita-Oyo; and cabinet ministers.
Some others attending the m​​eeting are the National Security Adviser to the President, retired Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno and the Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transportation as well as the Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Federal Road Safety Corps are expected to brief the council.
