FG  begins e-registration for non Nigerians in 8 states

Admin September 5, 2019

Abdulrahman-Abdulrazaq

The federal government has flagged off the electronic registration of non-Nigerians resident in the country in eight states.

In Kwara state, governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq described the exercise by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) as a key step in national security
and socio-economic development.

The e-registration is part of the larger efforts to keep accurate data and curb crimes in the age of transnational terrorism and other security threats.

AbdulRazaq said the initiative offers an opportunity for effective national security and socioeconomic planning.
