Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, has hit her target: 100 hours of non-stop cooking to set a difficult to beat world record.

Cheered on by a crowd of jubilant Nigerians who sat outside her windowed kitchen Hilda hit 100 hours just past 8 pm on Monday.

Officials of Guinness World record are yet to make an official confirmation of this feat as they said they are still reviewing the processes.

Hilda, who combines beauty with exceptional brawn, started cooking at a tender age with her mother as mentor, Political Economist can authoritatively reveal.

Those conversant with the 26-year-old Madona University graduate said her family has a rich history of cooking skills.

Hilda’s  mother has been a restauranteur operating under the trade name  Calabar Pot, a big restaurant that catered for the classy and upwardly mobile clientele.

She broke away from her mother to open her own restaurant known as My Food by Hilda.
