Constituents of Kogi West Senatorial District seeking the recall of Senator Dino Melaye, their Senator moved inches to actualizing their objective with the delivery of six bags containing signatures of persons endorsing his recall to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.
Promoters of the recall process claimed they had garnered signatures of 52.3 percent of the electorate from the zone among other petitions. They were believed to be sponsored by the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, who has been having a running battle with the senator.
But Melaye has shrugged of the threat of recall, saying it will fail.
