Arsenal scored two goals in each half in a 4-0 win over Watford in the English Premier League on Saturday, with young Nigerian Alex Iwobi enhancing his reputation with a second goal in as many games.
The 19-year-old Iwobi had already set up Alexis Sanchez for Arsenal’s fourth-minute opener when the Chilean returned the favor, with Iwobi sweeping in the finish in the 38th. He also scored in a 2-0 win at Everton before the international break.
Hector Bellerin, with a deflected shot, and substitute Theo Walcott bookended the second half with goals as Arsenal consolidated third place with its second straight victory.
Arsene Wenger’s team moved seven points clear of fifth-place West Ham, strengthening its chances of another season in the Champions League. AP
