Emmanuel stated this during a working visit of members of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Transportation, assuring them that the Agency will continue to improve on its services.
He affirmed that LASWA is focused on ensuring the safety and security of its passengers as well as creating an enabling environment for water transportation to thrive, saying that “We are working with relevant stakeholders to put quality infrastructure in place for the benefit of Lagosians”.

While imploring the Agency not to rest on its oars, the lawmakers charged the General Manager to create a more enabling environment, infrastructure, safety and security through public-private partnership for the water transportation commuting public.
The Chairman and other Honourable members of the visiting delegation, which included Mr. Okanlawon Sanni, Mr. Surajudeen Tijani, Mr. Sylvester Ogunkelu and Mr. Lanre Afinni, later went on a boat ride from LASWA Five Cowries Terminal in Falomo to Mile 2 Ferry Terminal.
