Merger: Herbert Wigwe to Head New Entity, Focus on Innovation, Financial Inclusion

The merger between Access and Diamond bank will be led by Herbert Wigwe, CEO Access bank, with a focus on innovation, financial inclusion and sustainability Diamond bank has announced in an email message.

With a combined scale of 29m customers, 13m mobile customers, 3,100 ATMs and 32,000 Pos  the new entity will see investment in digital platform leading to enhanced financial inclusion and is poised to be a leader in Nigeria’s digital Banking with synergies of N30bn in 3 years post completion.
