Miracle, a pilot,  has won the 2018 BigBrotherNaija reality show popularly called BBNaija Double Wahala earning highest vote tally and winning N25 million and a sleek SUV. He also won the Payporte Challenge with a cash prize of N1 million. This season had 170 million votes with 30 million votes for the grand finale week alone.

A good 20 contestants started the reality show by 7 pm on January 28, 2018 and by the grand finale night only five housemates were left standing. The top five were Miracle, Tobi, Nina, Cee-C and Alex.

This year’s show, the third in the series, threw up a lot of shocks, drama and suspense. It was the first time that housemates were paired, the first time three housemates were evicted in one night  among other shocks. This year’s edition also had a mix of students, media professionals, a lawyer, a pilot and entertainment personalities.

Less than one hour to the grand finale, music icon Davido and his crew made a surprise appearance in the house to the delight of the five housemates.

The grand prize is put at N45 million which include the cash prize of N25 million, an SUC worth N12 million and other perks including a trip offshore for two and household entertainment equipment.

About 7.30pm on Sunday, Nathan, an auditor from Deloitte brought the card containing the name of the first evictee of the night and it happened to be Nina. She was followed by Alex, leaving the trio of Cee-C, Tobi and Miracle as the last three standing. Against odds, Tobi was next to be evicted.

Speaking earlier on the third edition of the show, the General Manager, Sales and Marketing for MultiChoice Nigeria, Martin Mabutho, said the Double Wahala tag of this year’s edition has been served.

In his preview of the show in January, Mabutho had said: “Without a doubt, this promises to be the most exciting edition of the Big Brother franchise on the African continent.

“The last edition of Big Brother Naija was incredibly successful and we see just how much the show continues to resonate with fans in Nigeria and around the continent.

“We can hardly wait for Sunday, and we guarantee not only that our viewers will enjoy the premiere show, but that they will stay tuned for three months until the show’s finale when the winner is revealed.”
