The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 5,131 active cases in the country as infections rise to 7,526.
The Centre announced this Saturday night in its latest COVID-19 situation report covid19.ncdc.gov.ng.
According to NCDC, on the 23rd of May 2020, 265 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria and no new State has reported a case in the last 24 hours.
“Till date, 7526 cases have been confirmed, 2174 cases have been discharged and 221 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory”.
The 265 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in 13 States:
