The National Examination Council (NECO) on Friday released the 2016 June/July Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results. Sketch details of the result released showed a high pass rate in mathematics and English language.
According to the details, about 88.51% (or 905,011) of the candidates scored five credits and above in English Language and Mathematics. While 857,699 or 84.54% had Credit and above in English language, 812,846 or 80.16% had Credit and above in Mathematics.
Overall, the result reflect a sustained commitment on the part of students to improve on their scores in critical subjects.
