Over 900 Nigerians have raised over N5m for amputee #EndSARS protester on Sunday, after a picture her amongst other protesters went viral.

Dr. Chinonso Egemba, popularly known as Aproko Doctor online, who championed he cause on online, said he fundraiser was to help Jane get a prosthetic leg.

lthough the funding goal was initially N500,000, it was later increased to N1.5million to cover the cost of other expenses.

With the excess funds, the doctor also intends to help out another male amputee who was at the National Stadium in Surulere despite his disabilities.

Some Nigerians have however been wowed by the kind gesture of Nigerians towards the cause.

Some have said if citizens can raise such an amount in less than 24 hours then more should be expected from he government.
