Ondo State Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has dissolved the state’s Executive Council.

His media aide, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, stated in Akure on Wednesday that by the dissolution, all cabinet members were to immediately hand over to permanent secretaries or to the most senior administrative officer in their ministries.

He added that other political appointees such as Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to the governor were also relieved of their appointments.

“All the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.

“The governor thanks the affected officials for their services and contributions to the development of Ondo State,’’ Adeniyan stated.

Aiyedatiwa became Ondo State governor on Dec. 27 following the demise of his former principal, ex-Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu while still in office. (NAN)
