The Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has called on the public to assist with useful information that could help to reunite a missing male child with his family in Abuja.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the FCT, SP Josephine Adeh, made the call on Friday in Abuja.
She said the child, estimated to be between 10 and 11 years old, was found roaming around Works and Housing Estate in the Gwarimpa area of the FCT.
Adeh said the child was dressed in a white shirt and carton coloured trousers and was found and brought to Gwarimpa Police Divisional Headquarters by a Good Samaritan on Dec. 26.
She said the child was brought to the police station at about 4:00 pm after efforts to locate his parents or relatives proved unsuccessful.
“The child appears to be unable to speak or provide any information about his family.
“Members of the public with useful information are kindly requested to contact the nearest Police Station or call 08180382808, or the Police Public Relations Officer on: 07038979348,” she said. (NAN)
