The pastor of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Samson Ndah Ali, who was abducted in Mararaba Aboro in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State has regained his freedom.
However, the kidnappers held back the man who delivered the ransom for the pastor’s release, Yusuf Shehu Ambi Channels Television reports.
The ransomer was reportedly carrying a large sum of money to pay for the release of the kidnapped pastor. The kidnappers detained him, allegedly demanding more money or other concessions in exchange for his release.
While the police authorities in Kaduna State are yet to confirm the kidnap and release of the pastor, a source from the community told Channels Television that Ambi who is also the financial secretary of ECWA in Mararaba Aboro community had gone to deliver the ransom for the release of pastor Ali when he was detained by the kidnappers.
