Feb. 12, 2025

A retired Police Officer who allegedly defiled a 17 year-old girl at Ogudu Area Command was arraigned before Magistrate Fagbohun, Court 11, on Tuesday.

This was disclosed in an update by the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA).

According to the Agency, following his arraignment, he was remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Facility and the case was adjourned to March 11, 2025, pending the issuance of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) legal advice.

The Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency however restated its commitment to ensuring justice and the Lagos State Government’s zero-tolerance for sexual and domestic violence of all kinds

The Agency urged everyone to partner with the State Government to stamp out the evil vice, imploring everyone who see something to say something.

“Lagosians can contact the Agency by calling the toll-free line at 08000-333-333 or sending a DM to @lagosdsva on all social media platforms.”
