Konga Freedom Deals

Uncommon price slash has continued to highlight Konga Freedom Deals, an annual promo to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence which has recorded unprecedented patronage since it went live on Konga Online and offline outposts recently.

Political Economist investigations at various Experience Store of Africa’s fastest growing e-commerce powerhouse showed an increasing surge in customer traffic as Nigerian shoppers who had waited for the promo were quick to take advantage of the price slash.

At the two Konga Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos Experience Stores, there was a spike in customer traffic. Mr. Ade Obafemi, a businessman who spoke to our reporter said he decided to take advantage of the price slash to re-stock his wine cabinet and pick other household materials. “I am getting value for my money and time. And they have choice wines too which makes the whole thing worth my purse”, he said as he grabs more wines from the shelf.

Konga’s new Uyo store located on the bustling Ikot-Ekpene Road, as well as Kano, Warri and some of the stores in Lagos, particularly witnessed unprecedented surge with shoppers trying to out buy each other with the Uyo store assuming the form of a carnival.

The most sought-after products were the iTEC 32’’ and 40” TVs, HP 15 laptop and Home and Kitchen equipment

Ms. Krystal Chidalu, an Imperial University-trained Digital Marketer and award winner who is the Head of Digital Marketing at Konga disclosed that the company had been overwhelmed by the turnout for the Konga Freedom Deals.

“We decided to test brand loyalty and we got more than we expected. We activated this promo quietly to see if Nigerians would forget this annual promo. But they kept faith with Konga.

“Online traffic to the website www.konga.com was unbelievable and we thank Nigerians for celebrating this sustained air of freedom. Indeed, it is our wish that we shall continue to live well and that is why we say- it makes sense sense to save money. Check prices on www.konga.com before you buy.”

Furthermore, she disclosed that some select products are on free and same day delivery nationwide. Nevertheless, she revealed that on October 1st, Nigerians should watch out for some surprise deals.

A staff of Konga, simply identified as Mr. Charles who supervises the Commerce Plaza store, very close to the old Federal Secretariat, Abuja   noted that as early as 9am, they had recorded over 27 customers and at least 20 of them bought one item or the other. He revealed that his best trending products were iTEC TVs, Laptops, Inverter Batteries, Kids Tabs, Home and Kitchen equipment and mobile phones, among others. It was a fair spread which is encouraging, he disclosed.

Konga, Nigeria’s number one composite e-Commerce giant, noted for its high ethical standard, genuine products and complimented with tech-driven delivery logistics and multiple warehousing facilities nationwide, has unveiled a variety of products across multiple categories for its Freedom Deals, an annual sales promotion to commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Anniversary.

This year’s edition of the Freedom Deals, which marks Nigeria’s 59th Independence Anniversary, according to the company will run online and offline nationwide till Friday October 4th 2019.
