US military rescues missing airman; a perfect Easter gift, says Trump Jr.

F-15 fighter jet

The US intelligence has disclosed how the US airman whose fighter jet was shot down over Iran was rescued days after his F-15 fighter jet was downed by Iran forces.

The airman was said to have evaded capture by Iranian troops for more than a day, hiding and scaling rough terrain while a massive rescue effort was initiated by US military.

The Iranian authorities had already placed a bounty of $60,000 on the airman but US troops brought the officer to safety in a mission involving hundreds of personnel, including a CIA deception campaign. The deception campaign was to fool Iranian forces and it worked.

An elated President Donald Trump,  said the airman was wounded but that he’s going to be “just fine.”

Trump confirmed the rescue is Truth social media handle with a catchy “We Got him” message.

His son, Trump Jnr. Described the rescue as a perfect Easter gift.

@DonaldJTrumpJr wrote on his X handle:

“This is the Easter miracle I was praying for today. Pilot, WSO rescued and all rescue operators safely out of Iran. What an extraordinary mission behind enemy lines. Shot down in Good Friday rescued on Easter. You couldn’t ask for anything more perfect. Happy Easter all.”
