Voodoo suspected as married woman, man die in car sex romp, police investigate

Admin October 30, 2017

A preliminary case of voodoo is being suspected in the weird scene at Ogba area of Lagos where a naked couple was found dead in a car with engine and AC still running on Sunday morning. Some witnesses who bumped into the scene said the woman was married and the man, bearing a wedding band, was also suspected to be married.

Passersby saw both stark nude and dead in the silver-colour car. A resident in the neigbhourhood told our reporter that such death is possible in Yoruba mythology. “It could have been invoked especially if a husband is suspecting his wife, it is very possible in the case of infidelity. We have juju that are very potent in such matters”, said the man who simply identified himself as Kola. The incident occurred behind the Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ) building and it got the social media community buzzing.

A witness, Acoustich Anah, wrote on her twitter handle: “I just saw the weirdest and saddest thing. I saw people gathered watching a car. Initially I thought it was an accident but it wasn’t.

“I saw a man and a woman both naked the engine of the car still running even the AC is still on. They apparently were having sex and died

“The man has his hands on his part and the lady stretched out naked. The car was parked on the road.

“I couldn’t take pictures still shaken by the fact that I just saw 2 dead bodies this early morning. I can’t un-look it.”

The picture also went viral of Facebook for much of Sunday. The police have cleared the scene after dispersing the crowd of onlookers.

Lagos State Police Command spokesman, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, said the police was the first respondent in the incident. According to him, the couple was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors confirmed them dead. Investigation into the matter has continued.
