We Will Take Over Governance of Delta From PDP- Uduaghan, Ogboru, Others Declare

The former governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and his counterparts Chief Great Ogboru and Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege have dedicated Delta  All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign to God.

In their separate speeches during the dedication at the Rainbow Christian Assembly Church, Efurun- Warri, they said that the party would take over the governance of Delta in 2019.

They also said that it was time for APC to bring a new dawn, and light of development to what they believed had been years of slavery and underdevelopment of the state by the PDP.

Uduaghan said that with him and Ogboru now in one camp, the issue of who wins the 2019 general elections in Delta was already a settled one.

He said that he and Ogboru had been foes in the past but have come together.

“I know how we had been doing it before and with both of us now in one camp, victory is already sure come 2019.”

On the crises that had rocked the state chapter of the APC, Uduaghan, said peace had returned to the party, as he assured the church and the people of the state of purposeful governance, if the party wins.

“APC had challenges, but peace has returned to the party,” Uduaghan said.

Also, the Senator representing Delta central, Omo-Agege, said that with the configuration of the different personalities in the party, the time to liberate the state had been set.

He said that the focus of the state party leadership was to win convincingly, in the state and return President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

On his part, the State APC flag bearer, Ogboru said he would deliver better governance come 2019, adding “now is my turn as it has been foretold”.(NAN)
