Imisi in joyful tears
Winner of Big Brother Naija (BBN) 10/10 episode, Imisi Ayanwale, has hinted on how she will spend her prize money.
Ahead of the eviction hours, Imisi told Ebuka Obi-Uchendu that her first expenditure would be to take her family out on a date.
“I came into this house not knowing what to expect, but I stayed true to myself. Every challenge, every tear and every laugh brought me here.
I’m grateful to everyone who believed in me and voted for me,” she gushed with bursts of emotion after she was announced winner..
Imisi was announced winner of a contest among 29 housemates that lasted for 72 days and she walked away with a cash prize of ₦80 million.
Imisi famed for her drama and high energy display in the house hails from a humble background and has an all-female sibling.
She was perceived by some persons including housemates as not properly schooled but if she had a any deficiency in scholarship, she more than made it up with her undeniable dramatic presence and high-octane vibes which gave her edge over other housemates.
Ebuka, the host of the show, wowed the crowd made up family members of housemates, evicted housemates and others with his warmth and style as the audience erupted with excitement when Imisi’s name was announced as the winner.
Imisi, an outspoken housemate, who enjoyed massive support from her loyal fanbase known as “Ijoba 606”, triumphed over eight strong finalists namely: Dede, Kola, Mensan, Isabella, Jason Jae, Koyin, Kaybobo, and Sultana in securing her place in BBN history.
This season witnessed some dramatic twists including the disqualification of housemate Faith, a few days before the finale for violent act towards Sultana.
This year’s grand prize was valued at ₦150 million which comprises of ₦80 million in cash, a new car, a fully furnished apartment, a sponsored international trip, tech gadgets and several endorsement opportunities from the sponsors.
