21 ships discharging petroleum products, other commodities in Lagos ports

Twenty one ships are discharging petroleum products and other commodities at Apapa Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Saturday.

NPA explained that the ships were discharging petrol, diesel, crude oil, general cargo, containers, bulk gas, fresh fish, bulk gypsum and bulk urea.

Thirty one other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive in Lagos ports between Saturday and Feb. 20.

NPA said that the expected ships would bring general cargoes, bulk oil, bulk urea, bulk gas, diesel ,crude oil, bulk wheat, containers of different goods, raw crude oil, petrol and bulk gypsum.

It said 10 ships had arrived the ports and waiting to berth with bulk urea, crude oil, diesel, containers and general cargo.
