JUST IN: Everything is wrong with Tinubu; he’s the worst Nigerian leader – Atiku

Former Vice President and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Atiku Abubakar has slung mud at President Bola Tinubu, saying “everything is wrong with Tinubu.”
He described Tinubu as the “worst leader Nigeria ever had”, asserting that he was disappointed at his performance as President.
Atiku spoke in an interview on Arise New television where he fielded questions from veteran broadcast journalist, Charles Aniagolu.
He gave insight into how the ADC will pick its presidential candidate, saying consensus arrangement will be the first option but if it fails, they will go for voting.
Apparently to justify his anticipated shot at the presidential ticket of his party against the principle of zoning between the north and the south, he argued that zoning was not in ADC constitution.
He expressed raw confidence that his party will sweep APC and Tinubu out of the Presidency in 2027; citing the suffering that Tinubu’s leadership brought upon the people.
He said the north is more united this time against Tinubu, adding that the ADC has a better national spread than APC as all the members are from different parties including the APC.
Earlier at the ADC 2026 National Elective Convention in Abuja, Atiku said the nation’s current situation reflects years of failed leadership and urged citizens and members of the ADC to take responsibility for shaping a better future.
He said: “I appeal to Nigerians, especially members of the ADC, to ensure that this time around we are truly committed to changing the situation in the country.
“I remember when APC was being formed, the entire political leadership in this country from various parties stormed into my house only for us to end in this state of affairs: our economy gone, our sovereignty gone, our security gone, our education gone, our infrastructure zero, health care gone
“We, the people of my own generation, are in this game because of you, young men and women, our children, and our grandchildren,” he said.
